Diploma in Hotel Management is a 12 / 18 months diploma level Hotel Management course. Divided into six semesters, diploma in hotel management course focuses on the management of hotel administration, accounts, housekeeping, front office, food and beverage management, catering, and upkeep.
BHM is an undergraduate course which spans for a duration of three years. However, some colleges such as Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration offer it as a four-year degree program. As part of a BHM course, candidates are taught about different facets of the hospitality industry.
Masters in Hotel Management focuses on the application of management principles in the field of hospitality. Masters of Arts in Tourism Management or MA Tourism Management, is a 2-year post-graduate program. This course is about specializing students with the knowledge of the tourism industry which includes Airlines, Resorts, tour companies, casinos, meetings and events planning. The minimum eligibility for this course is a bachelor’s degree in tourism or any field.
